THE START OF A BEAUTIFUL FRIENDSHIP
My dog Padme’ and her new friend Nick. 10 year old Nick Qvarnstrom was in need of a Service Dog and was on the waiting list to receive one within a year. Funds needed to be raised, so in the meantime, Padme' (Certified Therapy Dog) volunteered to lend a paw and help Nick until his own Service Dog arrived.
NICK'S DOG ARRIVES
Nick received his very own Service Dog, Keno in June 2011. This photo shows Keno "doing his job" which at times can be to lean into Nick when he gets upset and this calms Nick down.
HAPPY TAILS
Nick with Keno and Padmé. Our weekly visits of Padmé and Nick working together have now turned into playdates for Keno and Padmé.
